Hans and I have known each other from the very first, just as you would get to know someone in a village of 3,000 souls: We spent our childhood days and youth together in the village. That was how it was – at the time. I then moved away from the idyllic wine culture of Tramin to train as a cook. I learned to appreciate the joys of regional cuisine throughout the country, spending some years on the Mediterranean island of Elba preparing fish specialities. Sometime in the 1990s, I heard my homeland calling me once more. I promptly ran into Hans again. After our wedding, we together considered what we should do with the Rynnhof. Since that time, I have administered our holiday homes and run the farm shop, selling home-made products from our vegetable gardens and orchards.
